The security of your JAPER App is important.

An App Start PIN can easily be set and removed.

Once set the App Start PIN is another layer of security on top of your smart-device's security.

By default the App Start PIN failure action is an ever increasing PIN entry timeout
 
A number of App Start PIN failure actions are available.

The most severe failure action results in the JAPER App being disabled until de-installed and re-installed.

Some JAPER Outcome requires that the JAPER App has an App Start PIN set.
